Our tests provide an accurate insight into the applied properties of coatings in relation to corrosion, ultraviolet light, water absorption, heat, abrasion and chemicals.

BSR Test facilities are well equipped to carry out environmental tests during different stages of development, qualification, acceptance and production of pipe coating in order to filter out the design, fabrication and integration deficiencies and to ensure product quality.

Within our on-site laboratories, state-of-the-art test equipments are used to simulate a variety of environmental conditions such as:

  • Climatic and environmental influences
  • Mechanical and Dynamic environmental influences
  • Effects on field joint coating cycles 

BSR is able to conduct a range of standard laboratory tests to international standards, as well as being able to design and build bespoke test arrangements.

In this way, customers are provided with independent certification of the performance of safety-critical coating components.

The laboratory is well equipped to offer testing services for raw materials and applied coating testing for material characterization as per most international standards, by our highly experienced Laboratory staff.
